Online donations are not currently enabled on this website. We're putting the right bank account, financial controls and receipting in place first. This page sets out the policy that will apply once online giving is switched on, and it will be reviewed and confirmed before that happens.
All donations will be used in furtherance of Angie's Heart of Hope CIC's community purpose. As a Community Interest Company, our assets — including donations — are protected by a statutory asset lock: they can never be distributed for private profit, and must always be used for community benefit. See our About page for more on our asset lock.
Where a donor asks for their gift to be used for a specific purpose or project (a "restricted" donation), we will use it accordingly wherever reasonably possible. Donations given without a specific request ("unrestricted") will be used where they're needed most, in line with our community purpose.
Once online donations are enabled: if you make a donation in error (for example, an incorrect amount, or a duplicate payment), please contact us within 14 days at angieheartofhope@gmail.com and we will process a refund wherever possible. Donations made deliberately and in good faith are not refundable except in cases of genuine error, in line with normal charitable-giving practice.
If Angie's Heart of Hope CIC becomes eligible and registers for Gift Aid in future, we will provide clear information at the point of donation about how to make a Gift Aid declaration, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
Once enabled, donations will be processed through a reputable, secure payment provider. We will never store your full payment card details ourselves. See our Privacy Notice for how we handle personal data.
